What will I do?
Before setting off…
Completing our 120 hour TEFL course, you’ll be equipped with the knowledge and skills required to teach in South Korea. You will also receive a one-week online orientation to learn about the history, culture and even the Korean language! On top of this, our in-country team helps you arrange your documentation while you pack your bags.
Beginning your adventure…
Landing in South Korea, you will meet a group of like-minded adventurers and start making friends for life. Highlights include - Korean cooking class, Taekwondo class, Gyeongbokgung Palace tour and a welcome dinner. Having completed the TEFL course and orientation, you’re ready to embark on a teaching adventure!
Teaching begins…!
The 12 months of your new career begin! We offer amazing destinations across South Korea, in both public schools and hagwons (private schools), within towns and cities. Working 40 hours per week, 23-30 of these will be contact/teaching time.
Accommodation is free and close to the school. Paired with the substantial salary, you will live comfortably and be able to enjoy yourself! Should you be traversing the majestic countryside to visit ancient pagodas or taking the subway in the inner city to a K-pop concert, South Korea has it all. Celebrating both the old and new, rural and urban. Be it the food, night-markets, music (karaoke too!), history, landscape, architecture – you will be inundated with amazing experiences!

After completing your placement, you’ll receive your completion bonus. But if you haven’t had your fill and you love what you’re doing, you can continue for another term!
